Description
Pachira aquatica is a commonly found houseplant called a money tree. The pendulous pendant leaves of this plant are widely used to celebrate holidays and other special occasions as gifts for friends and family members. Often referred to as Malabar chestnut or Saba nut, this floor plant is characterized by its slender trunks which often have their slender trunks braided together making them ideal low maintenance options for artificially lit areas. Plant care for money trees is easy and based entirely on regular watering and moderate light. After about two weeks, seedlings become mature enough to move to a brighter location with at least three – to four – hours of sunlight per day.
